Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a telemetry unit.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a telemetry nursing role.

Candidates will be proficient in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and the management of dysrhythmias.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, and cardiac dysrhythmias.

Special procedures may include peritoneal dialysis and telemetry monitoring.

Patients will require safe handling equipment, with ceiling lifts available in every room.

Weekend coverage will be required, with every other weekend shifts expected.

Responsibilities will include the monitoring of patient vitals, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The candidate must be comfortable floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
