Chief of Primary Care & Population Health Director -AHG / Baptist (50+ clinics)

Our firm has been retained to recruit a Primary Care

physician executive for Arkansas Health Group (AHG). AHG, in

partnership with the Baptist Health system, employs 700 physicians

and advanced practice providers in across 12 hospitals and 120

clinical practice groups. Based in the capital city of Little Rock,

the Primary Care Chief / Medical Director will have oversight of ~50

Primary Care Clinics across the state of Arkansas and partner with

the Population Health organization to extend value-based care

across the clinical network. No Direct Patient Care Required (up to

20% if preferred)

• Supervisory oversight of 50+ clinical primary

care practices & approximately 200 providers

interaction and partnership with the Population Health Service

Organization providing oversight and implementation of value-based

care contracts and delivery of care

maintenance of a quality improvement process for each primary care

practice and all providers. Lead the effort to evaluate each clinic

for opportunities and needs for growth to add providers

effort to evaluate the potential need for, develop, and open new

clinics in new locations

outpatient primary care setting; health plan / payor experience will

also be considered

implementing population health and value-based care principles

and / or contracts
