Salary : $80,000

Overview : The Program Director manages the program and delivers high quality clinical, rehabilitative and culturally competent services focusing on adults diagnosed with substance use disorders. Performs intake interviews / assessments ; treatment plan development and implementation; coordinates discharge planning. Develops and maintains good working relationship with resident referral sources and other related substance abuse, mental health and community service programs. Ensures program is following compliance with all agencies, clinical, fiscal, DHCS and licensure requirements.

Duties :

• Ensure the environment is welcoming, positive and friendly for staff and clients.
• Provide direct service as needed and demonstrate clinical expertise for others to emulate.
• Ensure financial and census regulatory goals are met.
• Develop, implement and enforce all company policies and procedures, including resident and employee rights according to agency, state, federal and accreditation standards.
• Ensure individual and group treatment interventions are delivered with clinical excellence and consistent with the facilitys evidence-based model. The focus will be on outcomes and improving resident experience.
• Have an understanding of 12-Step programs, mental health and other programs for Behavioral Health
• Conduct annual performance reviews of the supervisory (i.e. Program Supervisor) and support staff (i.e. Behavioral Health Technicians).
• Interact with marketing and represent the company and its mission with the community.
• Supervise subordinate staff including clinical and administrative staff.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and staff.
• Attend administrative meetings.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
• Familiar with community resources.
