Join our team as the Director of Automation, Engineering, and Maintenance to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of our automated pharmacy systems. In this role, you’ll oversee engineering projects, direct maintenance operations, and drive innovation to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and safety across all pharmacy operations.
Location : Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy, 14700 Helm Ct, Plymouth, MI 48170
Salary : $145, 000 - $153,000 annually depending on experience
Bonus : 10% discretionary bonus based on company performance
Schedule : Monday - Friday, with some after hours and weekend on-call availability
Reports To : VP of Automated Solutions
Travel Requirement : Up to 50% travel for site visits and project assessments to sites in the Midwest and Eastern US Regions

Key Responsibilities :
Lead implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of automated pharmacy systemsLead efforts to keep facilities and equipment in optimal working condition, identifying and addressing any issues before they impact pharmacy operations.Oversee engineering projects, facility upgrades, and workflow improvementsDevelop and manage comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performanceTrain, and mentor a team of engineers, automation specialists, and maintenance staffProvide mentoring, professional development, and performance management for team members to ensure high levels of productivity and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies including FDA, OSHA, DEA, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid ServicesManage budgets, allocate resources, and identify cost-saving opportunitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation and engineering objectivesThe ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerQualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or related fieldMinimum 8–10 years of experience in automation, engineering, and maintenance within a manufacturing, pharmacy, or healthcare environmentAt least 5 years in a leadership or management roleCertification in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma a plusExperience with PLC or other control systemsValid Driver’s LicenseSkills + Abilities :
