About The Position

Job Title : Echo Cardiographer

Profession : Echo Cardiographer

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM)

Experience : Minimum of 5 years performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting

License : Maryland license as a Registered Cardiovascular Tech or RDCS (ARDMS) RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) via CCI is acceptable

Certifications : Echocardiograph certification, CPR required, Basic Cardiac Life Support

Must-Have :

Bachelor of Science degree preferred, Associates required

Description :

Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 : 30 PM.

Four 10-hour shifts with a rotating day off.

On-call required.

Responsible for echocardiographic testing in the cardiovascular department, including inpatient and outpatient services.

Includes all 2D echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and stress echo tests.

Ensures proper and economical use of equipment, supplies, and other clinical resources in the delivery of quality patient care.

Maintains appropriate records and files.
