The Facilities Maintenance Assistant is directly responsible for the daily maintenance of all Club buildings, assets, and mechanical systems including grounds, landscaping, buildings, pools, furniture, and fixtures, and all repair and maintenance of said assets and systems that are generally and customarily required to be executed by maintenance personnel at a high-end, private club.

Minimum Requirements :

• Experience in clay tennis court maintenance or the willingness to learn how to properly maintain clay courts.
• Proficient with computer technology and standard software programs including work order placement and tracking, spreadsheet, and word processing
• Ability to understand and work with operating
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to interact professionally with all departments, outside contractors, and
• Proficient knowledge of a serve-safe environment, work comp and labor laws and general liability
• Will present him / herself as a professional with high moral
• Able to handle multiple tasks and at times in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• From time to time, this job role involves manual labor including power washing, digging, lifting, climbing, hauling, taking out trash,
• The ideal candidate will possess a level of physical fitness enabling him or her to lift up to 100 lbs.

About the Community

Verdana Village consists of 2,138 acres of development property located in Estero, Florida. The community has approximately 800 homes built and will consist of 2,400 homes at project completion. The community amenities include a 50,000 Square Foot Sports Complex with (2) indoor tennis courts, (4) indoor pickleball courts, indoor basketball court, indoor volleyball, caf, fitness, pro-shop, and administrative offices. The outdoor amenities include :
