Job descriptionBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., general ledger, AR / AP, journal entries). Working knowledge of SQL and database management. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Prior experience with the Apache OfBiz platform. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and financial data integrations. Experience developing for ERP systems with accounting / finance functionality. Background in aviation, manufacturing, or aerospace systems

Job Description : Position Summary
We are seeking a Java Developer with a strong accounting background to join our in-house ERP development team. This role involves developing and maintaining Java-based business applications, with a focus on integrating and enhancing accounting and financial processes. Experience with Apache OfBiz is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based ERP applications with financial and accounting modules.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable software solutions.
- Enhance and customize existing modules within the Apache OfBiz platform.
- Integrate financial data across systems via APIs, SQL databases, JSON, and XML.
- Perform debugging, optimization, and testing to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Train users, document processes, and provide technical support for deployed solutions.
- Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement efforts.
