Finance Manager
Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated individual for its Interiors business supporting the Commercial Seating & Furniture segment. The position has P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility and significant exposure to Collins and Interiors senior executives. The ideal candidate is an energetic, intuitive, self-starter interested in supporting and improving the accounting, reporting, and financial actual and forecasting processes.
This Winston-Salem, NC based role is hybrid and requires 4 days per week onsite. This role is eligible for relocation support.
What You Will Do :
- Partner with the Finance Senior Director and the Commercial Seating & Furniture program leadership team to drive strategic initiatives and assess the impact of business decisions on the financial results and adequately develop, manage, and track risks and opportunities.
- Drive, coordinate, review, analyze, and prepare all financial support and presentations for monthly / quarterly reviews and executive briefings. Brief program leadership each month on the financial results and drive accountability for profitability and cash generation across the organization including providing recommendations and "talk tracks".
- Work closely with Commercial Seating & Furniture financial leadership (site controllers and value stream financial leads) to ensure consistent reporting, messaging, and process improvements
- Manage Commercial Seating & Furniture group FP&A finance team (3 direct, 1 indirect) and focus on expanding and developing their financial analysis, and experience. Provide career mentoring and support for personal and professional development
- Lead all group financial activities related to the Commercial Seating & Furniture segment including, but not limited to financial analysis, monthly reporting and forecasting as well as the annual long range plan process (LRP), understanding monthly financial actuals, and supporting Interiors financial leadership.
- Drive balance sheet discipline, particularly with inventory management, accounts receivable, and quarterly / annual EAC's
- Ethically and compliantly ensure alignment with the program on all internal controls and standard policies.
- Relentlessly drive process improvement leading to leaner and more robust and efficient financial reporting and understanding.
- Collaborate with cross program finance leads to drive best practices.
- Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis as required.
- Travel up to 10% as needed to support Seating business
Qualifications You MUST Have :
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experienceBachelor's Degree required in accounting, finance or related disciplineQualifications We Prefer :
