Lawrence Group is seeking Architects to assist with healthcare projects in our St. Louis office.

This position will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative healthcare facilities that prioritize patient care staff efficiency and operational excellence. Candidates considered should possess the skillset to lead all phases of project development from conceptualization to construction administration ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of design quality functionality and regulatory compliance.

The key responsibilities include :

• Lead the planning and design process for healthcare projects including hospitals clinics medical offices and specialized healthcare facilities.
• Collaborate with clients stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams to understand project goals requirements and constraints.
• Develop innovative design concepts that integrate evidence-based design principles sustainable practices and the latest advancements in healthcare technology.
• Prepare and present design proposals feasibility studies and project documentation to clients and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee the production of detailed architectural drawings specifications and construction documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members fostering their professional growth and development.
• Manage project budgets schedules and resources effectively to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
• Conduct site visits and inspections during construction phases to monitor progress resolve technical issues and maintain design integrity.
• Foster relationships with clients consultants contractors and vendors to promote collaboration and client satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends technologies and best practices in healthcare design and architecture and incorporate them into project workflows and methodologies.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or masters degree in architecture from an accredited institution.

Licensed Architect with 15 years of experience in healthcare design and architecture preferred.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex healthcare projects from concept to completion.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Photoshop Illustrator Sketchup and InDesign graphic software.

Knowledge of building codes regulations and standards related to healthcare facilities (e.g. FGI Guidelines ADA requirements HIPAA regulations).

Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated commitment to design excellence sustainability and innovation in healthcare architecture.

Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g. AIA) is desirable.

Supervisory Responsibility :

This position may lead and mentor staff and is responsible for leadership performance management and hiring of the employees within its department if assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment with hybrid schedule capability. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This position requires no minimum ability to lift bend or stand.
