Job descriptionAdult male correctional facility (low custody levels) Mix of inpatient and outpatient care General population only; no forensic unit Supervision of mid-level psych providers included Monday-Friday, full-time, 40 hours / week Flexible start / end times (e.g., 6 : 30-3 or 9 : 30-6) Ongoing fall and winter start dates Credentialing takes 60-90 days Psychiatric, physical, and neurological evaluations Medication management and due process hearings Forensic experience not required MD or DO, BC / BE in Psychiatry Active Texas license preferred; open to IMLC psychiatrists BLS and DEA required All-inclusive rate covers all travel / lodging Access professional development resources and educational programs offered by different facilities, staying updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines. Choose assignments based on your preferred locations, accommodating personal preferences or opportunities for family visits and exploration.
