This position job description for the position of Operations Coordinator based in our Northville office (on-site). The role provides cross-functional support to Operations, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and QA to keep daily workflows tight and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities to support business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and update data across our systems (POs, shipments, inventory, vendor / customer details).
- Prepare routine reports and documentation (status, variance, KPI snapshots).
- Drive crisp cross-department communication and follow-ups.
- Assist with process improvements and SOP documentation to increase efficiency.
- Track inventory, orders, and shipments as needed; escalate exceptions.
Must-Haves :
Strong proficiency with office software : Excel (lookups, pivots), Word / Docs, PowerPoint / Slides; comfort with shared drives and basic data hygiene.Clear written and verbal communication; quick on follow-through and details.1 4 years in an operations / admin / coordination role (CPG, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution preferred; internships count).Familiarity with order lifecycles, basic inventory concepts, and document handling.High integrity, urgency, and ability to juggle competing priorities independently.Nice-to-Haves :
Exposure to QuickBooks or an ERP / WMS.Basic reporting / KPI experience.Vendor or customer-facing coordination experience.
