Job description

Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,549 per week at Molokai General Hospital summary :

As a Travel Nurse RN in the Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality nursing care in acute and emergent situations. Required qualifications include a valid Hawaii RN licensure and at least two years of staff RN experience in the Emergency Department. You must effectively communicate with patients and families while ensuring compliance with all health standards before the start date.

  • PALS

Job Details

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care in acute, emergent situations.
  • Ability to relate effectively to patients of all ages, their families, and staff.

    • Job Requirements

  • Hawaii RN Licensure required for consideration
  • Two (2) or more years staff RN experience in ED prior to travel assignments.

    • Schedule Information

  • Start date 2 / 18 is due to holiday on 2 / 17.
  • End date would be on a Saturday 13 weeks later.
  • Need 2nd traveler to start the following week, February 24th.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Reports to the Director of Nursing.
  • All elements of QHS compliance must be completed and uploaded to Medefis VMS portal 10 or more days in advance of start date.

    • Additional Details

  • Queen's is open to Hawaii residents, but they will not be offered traveler rates.
  • ALL COMPLIANCE WILL BE DUE 10 DAYS BEFORE START!
  • IF IT IS NOT ALL SUBMITTED 10 DAYS OR MORE BEFORE START YOUR TRAVELER WILL BE PUSHED 2 WEEKS OR CANCELED!
  • PLEASE INCLUDE A CURRENT NURSYS REPORT FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS.
