Videographer / Editor Job at Montgomery Community Media in Derwood

The Videographer / Editor is responsible for producing high-quality video content that supports the organization’s news and public information initiatives. This role includes video recording, editing, and delivering engaging visual content that effectively communicates key messages to the public, stakeholders, and the community. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record and advanced technical expertise in video production, combined with storytelling skills, to ensure all content is accurate, professional, and aligned with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate Electronic News Gathering (E.N.G.) cameras and video editing equipment;
• Perform the gathering of visual elements and, on occasion, conduct interviews and the integration of those elements into news packages and voice over pieces, suitable for airing on news programs;

Other Functions :

Required Qualifications :

Lifting and carrying equipment of 40 pounds.

Frequent reaching, stretching, twisting, and bending.

Prolonged periods of standing.

The salary range for this full-time position is $62,000 -$66,000 annual, assuming 40 hours a week.
