Molded Dimensions, located in Port Washington, manufactures precision molded rubber and cast polyurethane mechanical components used in a variety of industries from heavy machines to small engines, marine, waste management, automotive, medical food processing, construction and mining, to name a few. We are looking for a motivated Resin Prep on 1st shift to help monitor inventory and prepare urethane material to be used throughout the Urethane Plant.This fast-paced position will provide front end support to our production process and will be a key contributor to our manufacturing process. No experience no problem ! Our team is willing to train those with limited experience, as long as you have a great attitude and dedication towards the work.

Primary Job Duties :

The Mold Prep will ensure urethane material is prepared and available for production schedules on a daily basis. Responsible for mixing materials (resins, curatives, pigments, etc) by weighing and measuring specific amounts in accordance with formulas and established guidelines.

• Interpret formula sheets and accurately measuring and dosing resin and material additives into properly sized buckets.
• Ensuring molders have material ready and heated for every job on the production schedule.
• Monitor material inventory and alerting production scheduler when inventory levels are low.
• Keeping the work area very clean and organized.
