Job Description

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining company premises and equipment. Maintain the upkeep of company facilities, repair broken equipment and comply with state health and safety regulations.

Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)

  • Keeps the building and property in clean and orderly condition.
  • Performs routine greenhouse maintenance activities.
  • Performs heavy cleaning on greenhouse floors and tray system.
  • Proficient use of floor scrubbing equipment and pressure washers.
  • Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
  • Support Senior Mechanic and Cultivation Techs with preventative maintenance duties.
  • Perform monthly deep clean of restroom facilities.
  • Gathers and empties trash.
  • Shovel snow from walks and stairs if needed.
  • Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
  • Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs.
  • Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives.

Qualifications

Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules

Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work at particular heights

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours

Good Communication Skills

Education and Experience Requirements :

High school diploma or GED minimum

1 to 2 years related experience

State law requires applicants to be 21 years or older

Working conditions

Required work in varying temperature-controlled environments

Physical requirements

Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
