Are you ready to make a difference in the world of healthcare? As a Sonographer, you'll perform vital sonography imaging procedures, including ultrasound-guided techniques, that play a crucial role in patient care.

Qualifications

Education Level :

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field
  • Or a Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology

Licenses / Certifications :

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen (RDMS-AB) within 1 year from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics and Gynecology (RDMS-OB / GYN) from ARDMS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Completion of the Nasal Bone Education Program and MFM Physician Sign-off upon hire
  • Certification in nuchal translucency within 1 year

    • Specialized Knowledge and Skills :

  • Basic computer skills to access programs

    • Responsibilities

    Essential Functions :

  • Perform routine and complex sonography imaging, ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines.
  • Review ultrasound orders for completeness and accuracy, and gather necessary patient information.
  • Critique imaging quality and ensure data accuracy for optimal patient care.
  • Transfer and verify image data in PACS and other digital systems for MFM provider interpretation.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and a safe workplace environment, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Assist in training students and new staff, and may take on leadership roles in their absence.
  • Meet productivity benchmarks and assist in other areas during downtimes.
  • Participate in educational activities and create AS OB reports following each ultrasound.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The compensation range for this position is $33.22 - $57.14 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and location.
