Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Full-Time in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, assisting clients and visitors with exceptional customer service, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets as needed. What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at logistics and distribution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor access points, loading docks, and shipping / receiving areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect assets.
  • Document incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and site personnel while carrying out assigned duties.
  • Report maintenance hazards or other hazards discovered during patrols to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
