Math and English Teachers

Overview

Eye Level is looking to hire a Math tutor / instructor for our Learning Centers in Frisco.

Eye Level Learning Center Frisco East and Frisco Central Learning Centers are dynamic after-school enrichment learning centers. We are seeking an experienced Math tutor / instructor to tutor students from grades pre-K to 10. All teaching materials are provided. The Math instructor will work with students in an individual or small group setting. Must be flexible with changes in setting and time. This is a part-time, year-round position.

Requirements

• College students who are planning to pursue teaching as their career or should have at least completed 20 units.
• Montessori experience or certification are welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication skills with adults and children.
• Sense of responsibility.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and willingness to work with children.
• Hours can be discussed in the interview (a minimum of 15-20 hours / week).
• Proficient knowledge in Reading and Writing – all candidates will be tested in Math, Reading, and Writing, prior to the interview.
• Just retired ISD teachers are welcome to apply.
