Purpose : The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor is responsible for leadership and complex technical work within a wide range of EHS disciplines. The EHS Supervisor will support day-to-day operations at all Dynamic Aviation sites by supervising and developing the EHS team, processes, and programs for Dynamic Aviation.

Responsibilities :
Develop, mentor, coach and lead Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team members based on data driven assessments and Stakeholder inputAssist with the development and implementation of EHS programs and management systemsHelp to establish, track, communicate and develop plans to achieve EHS performance goals and provide timely status updatesDirect the implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs necessary to improve and foster a positive EHS cultureDevelop and maintain working partnerships with internal and external regulatory stakeholders to customize and implement solutions that support EHS risk reduction for Dynamic Aviation employees and supporting personnelUnderstand the business and manage tasks that support risk reduction and legal compliancePrepare and present compliance program documents, assessment reports, accident reports, training course materials, funding requests, and statistics that are technically accurate and completeConduct hazard evaluations before and during project work, and other exposure assessments as needed. Provide recommendations to prevent exposures to EHS hazardsEnsure compliance with various stakeholder entities, to include but not limited to, EPA, DEQ, VAOSH, DCMA, OSHA, HRRSAManage and maintain the organizations fuel programPerform regular visits for Dynamic Aviations sites (less than 15%)Obtain and manage companies ISO 45001 and 14001 (IE : VEEP and STAR programs)Other duties as assignedRequirements :
3-5+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety related fields within manufacturing operationsPrevious leadership experience is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, a Safety-related discipline or a related field of study preferredPractical, hands-on experience with the following : risk assessment, equipment and process safety, machine guarding, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance initiatives, and incident root cause analysis requiredDemonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements and regulations at federal, state, and local levelsAbility to manage and lead team to achieve required positive resultsAbility to adapt, adjust schedules when needed, take initiative, prioritize and work effectively within a fast-paced innovative environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence and communicate with associates and all levels of managementProficiency with all Microsoft Office software, Adobe, and ERP softwareMust be willing to travel for site visits less than 15% annuallyThe following certifications are preferred : Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)It is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
