Job Description
The School of Education, Social Work, and Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) announces adjunct and adjunct university supervisor faculty positions in Urban Teacher Education for the Institute for Urban Education (IUE). The professionals selected for this position will join a collaborative and dedicated faculty who emphasize excellence in education at all levels in the context of the School of Education, Social Work, and Psychological Sciences' commitment to urban education and educational equity. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The IUE prepares and supports exemplary teachers for schools in Kansas City. Components of the IUE include Grow Your Own high school and community college pipelines for prospective teachers, Teacher Preparation for urban school, and Services to Schools and Teachers which includes professional development and teacher support.
THE INTENT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO IDENTIFY A POOL OF ADJUNCT FACULTY IN THE INSTITUTE FOR URBAN EDUCATION.
