We're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a part-time, float capacity. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our mental health pharmacy.
Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions, performing necessary clerical duties, and providing exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff. You will also work closely with our Registered Pharmacist to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications :
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Idaho.
1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Ability to use your own vehicle to get to sites as needed.
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license.
