About the Role
The Accounting Intern role is designed for students currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate accounting while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal intern will have a strong interest in financial operations and businessmanagement, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment. This internship provides valuable exposure to real-world accounting processes, helping to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.
Skills & Qualifications
- Actively enrolled a university pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with a customer service orientation, able to take initiative and adapt to changing needs
- High level of integrity and emotional intelligence, ensuring confidentiality and effective management of sensitive situations
Primary Duties
Assist with data entry and basic accounting recordkeeping.Help organize and file invoices, receipts, and financial documents.Support the accounting team in processing accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with bank reconciliations and basic financial reporting tasks.Update and maintain spreadsheets and accounting databases.Participate in month-end tasks, such as verifying financial data and preparing simple reports.Help ensure accuracy and organization of accounting files and records.Perform other general office and administrative tasks as needed.Physical Requirements
