Location : Onsite – Kohler, WI

Competitive Compensation : $27.77 - $28.52, plus $1.50 per hour shift premium

Shift : 3rd Shift : 9 : 00PM – 5 : 18AM

We are looking for an Iron Melt Operator to join our Cast Iron division. We offer a diverse of growth opportunities within our manufacturing divisions. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.

Crafting Excellence : Your Responsibilities

Use of pneumatic chipping hammer and masonry / brick saw

Perform ladle patch / rebuild with misc. refractories, perform

Melt baghouse bag change out

Perform Auto-pour furnace chip / patch

Perform Melt furnace chip / patch

Melt furnace knockout and reline as needed

Yard Crane, HMC and Preheat operations

Scrap load check-in, after time duties will include slagging, charging, tapping melt furnaces as directed by Control Technician

Fork lift certification is required, etc.

Clean up duties will be assigned as needed by supervision.

PPE requirements are, but not limited to : 3.0 tinted safety glasses, slip off safety shoes with metatarsal guards, respirator, coveralls, etc.

Schedule reflects production lines.

Skills / Requirements

Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.

Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

Physical Capability : Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation including but not limited to bending, lifting, and pushing weight.

Screening : Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.

Reliability : Consistent attendance and work performance.
