Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Aurora, IL, for a Senior Computer Aided Design Technician. The position encompasses the creation and modification of detailed design drawings and plans using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project guidelines. Daily tasks include collaboration with engineers and project teams, preparing and organizing technical documentation, and assisting with troubleshooting CAD‑related issues. The role also involves maintaining design standards and contributing to the successful development of engineering and surveying projects.

Qualifications

Proficiency in working with Autodesk Civil3D CAD software and tools, with the ability to effectively create and modify technical designs.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience in developing technical documentation.

Experience in civil engineering or land surveying projects is highly beneficial.

Associate’s degree or certification in CAD, Engineering Technology, a plus, but is not required.
