Responsibilities :
- Support the development of technical reports utilizing qualified Independent Engineers for the purposes of attaining Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).
- Responsible for assembling and providing all technical input needed by the Independent Engineer for the report development.
- Coordinate with the Internal Accounting team to assemble data supporting valuation of assets.
- Provide regular project spending forecasts to project managers and leadership to ensure budgets are on track and spending targets are achieved.
- Coordinate with the Capacity and REC team for the submission of reports and RFI data relating to REC opportunities
- Participate in marketing calls to remain informed on REC criteria and opportunities.
- Coordinate with vendors to conduct valuation of assets and PWA compliance audits
- Development of financial models to determine IRR and NBV of potential projects
- Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and leadership
- Establish and train teams on processes and strategies
- Attend routine meetings and brief leadership on project status and important updates

Familiarity with New York REC criteria and tax credit programs for renewablesRelevant renewable generation industry experience, in particular, hydro generation technologies is strongly preferredCore knowledge and demonstrated track record of project management, and basic contract administrationUnderstand the various laws and regulations and how they affect Brookfield and REC and Tax credit opportunitiesAble to develop business cases to support potential projects.Ability to become familiar with Brookfield's specific budgets, costs, operations, and policiesSound understanding of budgeting, forecasting and accrualsUnderstanding of the operations functionKnowledge of new and established software systems and the ability to train others on themSalary : $115,000-$125,000 / year
Bonus : 15%
