Environmental Health Safety Specialist

We are looking for two employees to support a large pharmaceutical team in McPherson, KS for 6 months.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree - Science (biology, Chemistry, master’s in public health applicable as well

Ability to work full time onsite in McPherson, KS

Responsibilities :

• EHS Equipment Management Support
• Industrial Hygiene Assessment - quantitative and qualitative assessment (typical industrial hygiene technician duties)
• Laboratory and GPA Business Partner Support
• Temp Resource Projects for Pfizer Benefit and Resource Education / Growth
• EHS equipment maintenance alignment with site equipment / instrumentation maintenance (collaborate with site instrumentation group to include EHS equipment in their process)
• Ventilated enclosure maintenance alignment (e.g. fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, laminar flow hoods, etc.) across the site (work with engineering / maintenance to create standards and align ventilated enclosure maintenance across the site
