Healthcare Setting : Level III Labor & Delivery Unit\n

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks\n

End Date : February 15, 2026\n

Shift : 12-hour night shifts\n

Hours per Week : 36\n

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880–$2,020 per week\n

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n

Weekend / Holiday / Call : Every other weekend, holidays and call as needed\n

Floating : Required to Mother Baby Unit and other campus locations\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Florida or compact state\n

Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery at a 500+ bed hospital\n

2+ years of experience in high-risk OB settings\n

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM\n

Preferred certifications : Inpatient OB, Maternal Newborn Nursing\n

Experience with Level III L&D and NICU preferred\n

Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills\n

Prior travel nursing experience preferred\n

\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

Deliver comprehensive care for high-risk obstetric patients throughout labor and delivery\n

Perform antenatal and labor assessments, vaginal exams, and newborn care\n

Administer and monitor medication infusions (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate), start IVs, and PCA\n

Circulate and recover C-sections as needed\n

Float to Mother Baby Unit to provide immediate care and daily assessments for newborns\n

Document patient care using Sunrise Clinical Systems and Centricity CPN fetal monitoring system\n

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory and anesthesia support\n

Maintain a nurse-patient ratio of 1 : 2 for high-quality, patient-centered care\n

Participate in orientation and ongoing training to uphold unit protocols and best practices\n
