Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Flagstaff, Arizona 86001 Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) contract Healthcare Setting : Level I Trauma Center, Short Term Acute Care Facility Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shifts : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 00), Friday - Sunday block Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week (facility may call off up to 6 times per 13-week assignment) On-Call : Limited; up to 8 weeknight call shifts in an 8-week period (30-minute callback time) Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 Scrubs : Provided Charting System : Cerner Parking : Free onsite Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1930 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact state nursing license Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Proven experience in general, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and neuro (including craniotomies) surgical cases Level I trauma experience required (will consider highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in similar or larger facilities) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to participate in limited on-call rotation as assigned Comfortable working a Friday - Sunday block schedule First-time travel nurses welcome! OR RN Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and compliance with facility protocols Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures : orthopedic, trauma, spine, neuro, and general surgeries Respond rapidly and effectively in emergency and trauma situations Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical support staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner electronic health records Participate in limited on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as needed Adhere to quality standards and patient safety protocols, including medication administration May float to other clinical areas as needed based on skills and facility requirements Discover rewarding travel nursing opportunities in Arizona!
