Schedule : M-F 8-12hrs

Pay Rate : $32-$37

Location : Boise, ID

Position Type : Full Time

Travel : 80% for the first year then 50% once trained

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Troubleshoot semiconductor equipment
Perform sustaining maintenance (PM / CM)
Install new equipment and retrofits
Experience with Precision Surface Processing tools
Must be self-motivated and able to take instruction from a senior Field Service Engineer to grow into a stand-alone service provider

Requirements :

Minimum of 5 years of field service support at a PVD equipment company or in PVD / Ion Beam-related work

Previous semiconductor experience required

Willing to travel up to 80% during the first year for training and travel reduces to approximately 50% once fully trained as an FSE

AS or BS degree in electronics, robotics, material science and engineer, mechanical engineering, physics or related field + minimum of 5 years' experience in field service support at a PVD equipment company or PVD / Ion Beam related company or on the specific toolset required

Physical Effort / Activities :

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push / pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
