Job Description
We’re looking for an Industrial HMI Developer to design, build, and deploy modern interfaces for automated production systems. You’ll collaborate with controls and automation engineers, work on diverse projects (retrofits to full greenfield systems), and use cutting-edge tools like Ignition, Wonderware, and FactoryTalk.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop HMIs for automated equipment using Ignition, Wonderware, and FactoryTalk SE / ME
- Work with engineers and clients to define functional screens and data flow
- Test, simulate, and deploy systems onsite (15–20% travel)
- Establish communications between HMI servers and PLCs
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and onsite adjustments
What You’ll Need
3+ years of industrial HMI development (Ignition, Wonderware, or FactoryTalk)Basic networking and OPC UA familiarityUnderstanding of ISA-101 high-performance design principlesStrong problem-solving skills and teamwork mindsetBonus Skills
