Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care Specialist

The Wound Care Nurse Specialist will provide comprehensive wound management and ostomy nursing care to patients in collaboration with other members of the health care delivery team, including providers, staff nurses and wound care center staff. Serves as clinical expert, educator and liaison between the patient and the medical, nursing and interdisciplinary staff with the goal of wound healing and improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum Education :

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Licenses : Current Virginia State RN License

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) (may be obtained first week of orientation)

Wound Care Nurse Certification required within 1 year of hire.

Minimum Work Experience :

Required : Previous wound care experience

Preferred : 2 years of wound care nursing experience
