Federal Work-Study Job Description  Job Title : Student Community Engagement Assistant  Number of positions : 2 Department : Office of Community Engagement Job Location : Hume Hall Supervisor / Timekeeper : Sonia Sanders Hours per week : 24  Duties and Responsibilities : This position is responsible for providing support to the Office of Community Engagement and its staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Answering and forwarding phone calls, taking, and delivering messages
• Assist with the planning and executing events and activities for Students, Faculty and Staff
• Collaborate with individuals internally and externally from various community organizations.
• Assist with formatting and drafting correspondence Qualification and requirements : Excellent verbal and written communication. Candidate must have professional and organizational skills. Must have knowledge using Microsoft.
