  • Unit : Cardiac ICU (CCU Ellison 9)\n
  • Duration : 13-week contract (Start : 9 / 14 / 2025 – End : 12 / 13 / 2025)\n
  • Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Shift : 12-hour rotating day / night shifts; every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 2\n
  • Unit Details : 16 beds, census 16\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880–$2,020 per week\n
  • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU specialty (Massachusetts RN license preferred)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Level 1 Cardiac ICU nursing experience\n
  • Proficiency with mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices such as Impella, VAD, ECMO, and IABP highly preferred\n
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced heart failure management\n
  • At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience in a critical care or cardiac ICU setting\n
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)\n
  • Ability to work rotating day / night shifts, including weekends and holidays\n
  • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to critically ill cardiac patients, including those with multisystem and advanced heart failure\n
  • Monitor and manage patients on mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, VAD, ECMO, IABP)\n
  • Provide care for fresh post-operative cardiac surgical patients\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and healthcare standards\n
  • Educate and support patients and families throughout the continuum of cardiac care\n
