Service Electronics Technician

Under the direction of the Service Director and Service Technical Supervisor, this position is responsible to test, troubleshoot and repair digital and analog electronics down to component level in a fast paced manufacturing environment. In this role you will provide support and feedback, as needed to manufacturing based on data-mining, thorough inspection, and research; use skills and knowledge from detailed analysis and hands on experience to assist team members and other departments. This position will be responsible to keep up-to-date with new product releases and new technologies. This position will work with electronic test equipment including real-time oscilloscopes, signal generators, meters, power supplies, Audio Precision and in house built test fixtures. This is a full time, non-exempt position earning $24.53 / hr - $38.83 / hr.

Job Requirements :

• Requires ASEE, BSEE or equivalent technical education and 1-5 years related job experience.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair down to component level.
• Must be prepared to read schematics, diagram and troubleshoot down to component level in first interview.
• Experience with Audio Precision equipment is strongly desired but not required.
• Technical audio equipment repair experience is preferred.
• Ability to recognize, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports.
• Must be willing to assist with customer contact.
• Familiarity with PC Microsoft Office, MS DOS, database applications, and possess excellent computer skills.
• Audio background a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbally.
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly.
• Must pass a general and criminal background check.
