DO YOU CURRENTLY HAVE AN NJ COSMETOLOGY PERMIT?

We provide practical salon training for beauty school students and recent graduates with a valid NJ Cosmetology Permit - No prior clientele needed - We are so busy that you will have your own chair and a full book of clients in a short period of time!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hair stylist / Cosmetologist / Barber opening for booming Kids' Hair Salon! Get in on the ground floor of something great!

Full and part time shifts are available for the barber / cosmetologist positions. Valid New Jersey Board of Cosmetology License is required for the hair stylist / barber openings.

We are hiring energetic yet patient hair stylists that can work as team-players, and expertly perform quality barber / cosmetologist cuts on boys and girls, 6 months thru 13 years old.

Manicure / Pedicure skills are a plus but not required.

Makeup / Face painting / artistry ability are a plus but not required.

Hair braiding skills are a plus, and a great asset to hair stylists to cosmetolgists, but not required..

Experience with Ethnic - Asian and African American hair is a plus, but not required!

Lice Treatment Experience is a plus, and a great way for hair sylists and barbers to earn extra commissions!

Our busy hours are Saturdays, Sundays and evenings, so a flexible schedule is a must! We offer a dynamic and fun work environment in affluent Hoboken, NJ. The income and commission earning potential is excellent!

If you are called for an interview, please bring a portfolio of your work in addition to your valid New Jersey Board of Cosmetology license.

Salary:

-Base Salary & Commissions for all hair stylists / barbers and cosmetologists. Commensurate with experience.

$500 Signing Bonus.
