Taylor Agency is looking for an experienced professional to join our Commercial Lines team as an Account Manager. We are looking for a service-oriented individual interested in helping our clients through value-based conversations and an outstanding customer experience. Each Account Manager is responsible for servicing an existing book of commercial business. Must be able to work well in a team environment and be detail oriented. This position also works with sales producers and a marketing team that shops coverage for existing accounts. The right candidate will have 2 or more years experience in the insurance field and hold a SC Property and Casualty insurance license. This position is available in our James Island office. Our staff work from home 1 day a week and in office 4 days.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Offering and issuing coverage
  • Create and update system generated Proposals
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Experience with AMS 360 is helpful, but not required
  • Must work well with a team and independently

Requirements

  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train the right individual.
  • Two of more years of commercial insurance experience in an agency or comparable insurance related background
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to Multi Task
