ID : 73399483 Shift : 12H Nights Nights, EOW, first to float Description : Unit IS AN RN SHIFT MANAGER - CHARGE RN POSITION! MUST have experience as an RN shift manager! (Will take patient assignments, also staff a resource nurse to help w / tasks and breaks etc)

• # Beds : 31 if MedSurgRequired certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) : BLS, ACLSCommon diagnoses / Types of MedSurg patients : Gyn, appe, chole, some spine surgeries, total hip & knee replacement surgeries, urology surgeries, colectomy, acute or chronic medical diagnosis Experience or 'Must have' skills : Prefer nurses who have Cerner experience.Are RNs required to titrate drips?NoCommon titratable & / or set rate dripsN / AAre there tele / monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? No teleAre there nurse aids on this unit / Ratios : 1 aide if the census goes upRT Equipment (i.e., Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, vents, etc.) : Any critical patients with Bipap, etc, will go to another unitShifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) : 12Hr shiftsWeekend other weekendIs there Call or a Standby requirement?If overstaffed & then standby would be requiredFloating Requirements?Travelers are 1st to float & can be floated to Mercy Southwest (approx 6.5 miles away)Scrub Color / Dress Code / Scrubs provided?Navy blue. If you wear an undershirt under your scrub top, it must be navy, white, or black. If you wear a scrub jacket, it must also be navy. No hoodies, sweatshirts, or sweat jackets. Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation). Charting BSN License to Trauma Level : Care Shift , EOW, first to float Required , BLS Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Contract Weeks : 91
