    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or Compact State\n
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required\n
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required\n
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification – required\n
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification – preferred\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience preferred\n
  • Eligibility to work in the United States\n
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in a medical-surgical setting\n
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals\n
  • Provide patient and family education tailored to age, culture, and clinical condition\n
  • Delegate nursing tasks to support staff and precept new nurses or student nurses as needed\n
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital environment\n
  • Demonstrate compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic relationships\n
  • Apply evidence-based nursing interventions and utilize healthcare technology for optimal outcomes\n
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards\n
  • Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives within the healthcare facility\n
