About the Role

Join the Vibe Central team to drive innovation in AI-assisted development. As an AI Productivity Engineer, you will leverage tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to enhance developer productivity and optimize engineering workflows. This highly collaborative role sits at the intersection of software engineering, AI productivity, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Enhance developer productivity by integrating and championing the use of AI-powered coding tools, with a focus on GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.

Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure backend solutions.

Integrate new technologies into existing workflows to continuously improve engineering efficiency.

Collect, analyze, and present metrics that demonstrate the impact of workflow enhancements.

Engage actively in coding communities, sharing best practices, fostering engagement, and storytelling around developer experience initiatives.

Contribute to technical documentation and support teams in operational readiness.

Qualifications

2 5 years of backend development experience; Typescript and Python preferred (but not required).

Proficiency or strong interest in AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.

Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.

Proven interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

Community engagement experience or a demonstrated passion for teamwork and developer enablement.

Ability to collect, interpret, and communicate data-driven productivity metrics.

Strong documentation skills and interest in promoting operational excellence.
