Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Pump Installer based in Colton, CA. The Pump Installer will be responsible for daily field work, driving and operating company equipment, installing, maintaining, and repairing pump systems. Key tasks include ability to work independently, CDL reporting, assembling pump components, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the proper functioning of pump systems. Key Responsibilities
- Operate pump rigs and support equipment with proficiency and safety.
- Chemical installation for well rehabilitation
- Install, remove, inspect, and service all types of water pumps and associated systems.
- Conduct well rehabilitation using wire brushing, bailing, swabbing, and airlifting methods.
- Diagnose pump problems using mechanical expertise and hydraulics knowledge.
- Perform three-phase electrical disconnects and reconnections of pump motors.
- Maintain tools, rigs, and job site safety compliance at all times.
- Train and supervise crew members while fostering teamwork and safety.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, engineers, and clients.
- Keep accurate daily logs, worksheets, and post-project reviews.
- Provide input on pump inspections, repairs, and maintenance planning.
Qualifications
Valid CA CDL (A or B) driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as neededMust be able to deadlift 80-100lbs overhead regularlyExperience with pump installation, maintenance, and repairMechanical and technical skills related to vehicle, equipment and pump systemsProblem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic three-phase electrical skills (for pump motors) required.Welding and cutting torch experience is preferred.Good communication skills-verbal, written, client and team-focused.High physical stamina and willingness to work outdoors and on remote sites.Willingness to travel and stay out of town for short-term project durations.Solid math skills for field measurements and calculations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in relevant fields are a plusRemuneration Package :
Salary : Private. 32-$38 / hr Public Works (as per DIR). $82- 96 / hrWeekly Pay CycleSchedule.
