Job description

Overview

A facility in Alaska is seeking an anesthesiologist to provide ongoing inpatient coverage. The schedule includes weekday shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m., with assigned after-hours call on both weekdays and weekends. The hospital has 25 inpatient beds and uses Epic for EMR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia for general OR cases.
  • Support OB department procedures.
  • Support the ED as needed.
  • Occasional procedures such as A-lines and central lines.

Qualifications

  • Active Alaska medical license to expedite credentialing.
  • Comfort managing variable patient volumes (5–15 contacts per day).
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP & ATLS preferred).
