Certified Medical Assistant

Overview

Join our client as a Certified Medical Assistant where you will provide essential clinical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification
• Assist physician in examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
• Keep rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
• Take and return patient phone calls as directed by Physician
• Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician
• Requisition supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock
• Assist with the maintenance of medical records including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation
• Assist patients getting to and from exam rooms and preparing for exams
• Work as a member of a team and be flexible
