Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Mechanic

Location : Avon, Massachusetts

Hours : First shift, 7 : 00am–3 : 30pm

Rate : $29.00–$34.00 hourly, depending on experience

Key responsibilities

• Own routine care of assets : clean, lubricate, align / adjust, and calibrate equipment.
• Test systems, troubleshoot faults, repair issues, and order / replace components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tackle unscheduled repairs across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Evaluate chronic failures and propose upgrades that improve availability, capability, and output.
• Root-cause and resolve equipment problems with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Write detailed technical reports covering modifications and maintenance procedures.
