Job Title : ER RN\nLocation : [Facility Name], Oregon\nStart Date : ## (Orientations held twice monthly)\n\nSchedule\n\nER shift start times : 0645 (Day), 0945 (Mid), 1145 (Mid), 1345 (Mid), 1845 (Night)\n\nShifts are scheduled in 4-week rotation blocks (Day / Evening / Night).\n\nRN may remain on one block for the entire contract or may be asked to switch blocks with advanced notice.\n\nRequirement : Travelers must agree to work any / all shift start times listed above. Please confirm this at submittal.\n\nRequirements\n\nNo new travelers — at least one completed travel assignment required.\n\nOregon Emergency License accepted (must have clean background for fast approval).\n\nMust have strong skills with mental health, ETOH, overdoses.\n\nHousing : May be challenging to find — please research prior to submission (ask ASC for leads).\n\nUnit Details\n\nFast Track : Yes\n\nTriage : Separate triage area with 2 rooms (travelers may be required to triage).\n\nHolding / Observation : 2 dedicated psych hold rooms, plus an overflow psych area separate from main ED.\n\nPsych / Seclusion Rooms : 2 dedicated psych hold rooms.\n\nSecurity : In-house security team.\n\nCommon Diagnoses\n\nChest Pain (CP)\n\nCOPD\n\nDKA\n\nTrauma\n\nStroke\n\nMental health, substance use, overdoses\n\nStaffing & Support\n\nProviders : ED Physicians and Mid-Levels on- site.\n\nLeadership : Dedicated Charge Nurse + House Supervisor.\n\nSupport Staff : ED Techs, Sitters.\n\nRespiratory Therapy : Manages vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow, ABGs, breathing treatments, and EGS.\n\nMonitoring : All rooms equipped with Spacelabs monitors. 24 / 7 monitor techs present. RNs read strips.\n\nLab / Phlebotomy : Both RN and lab draw.\n\nImaging : X-Ray and CT available within ED; transport provided.\n\nTechnology\n\nEMR : Epic\n\nMed Dispensing : Pyxis\n\nOther Details\n\nWeekend Requirement : Every other weekend.\n\nHoliday Requirement : Guaranteed at least one off (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Independence Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, or Labor Day).\n\nCall / Standby : None.\n\nFloating : None.\n\nOrientation : Minimum 2 days unit-specific orientation before starting rotation.\n\nDress Code : Any scrubs (no uniform requirement).\n\nApply Now!!
