Planet Healthcare is seeking a local contract Patient Care Tech for a local contract job in Vineland, New Jersey.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Duties

  • Must have reliable transportation, will be floated to Vineland / Elmer if needed.
  • The Patient Care Technician takes direction from the registered nurse.
  • The main functions are to maintain a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas, assists licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs.

    • Skills :

    Candidates should possess a diverse skill set that includes :

  • High School graduate or equivalent is REQUIRED
  • 2 years' experience as a CNA, CMA or PCT required in an ACUTE setting.
  • Must have patient bedside experience, taking vitals etc.

    • Certification / Licensure :

  • CNA, PCT or CMA accepted.
  • AHA BLS required.

    • Schedule :

  • 3x12s days OR nights
  • Every other weekend
