Data Center Battery Technician - Entry Level

Join a large-scale battery replacement initiative involving the removal and installation of approximately 9,000 UPS batteries, each weighing between 110-120 lbs. This is a physically demanding role ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in the DC power systems field within data centers.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Safely remove and replace high-capacity UPS batteries in a data center environment
• Participate in initial online training and receive on-the-job instruction from experienced technicians
• Use basic hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
• Travel to various data center locations as needed
• Work Details :
• Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM (with potential for 1-2 hours of daily overtime)
• Location : Candidates must reside within 30 miles of Pittsburgh
• Transportation : Reliable personal transportation required
• Duration : 6+ month assignment
• Qualifications :
• No prior experience required-training provided
• Comfortable with labor-intensive tasks
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn and grow within the DC power industry

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
