$1,935 to $2,012 per week

About The Position

Job Description & Requirements

Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)

StartDate : ASAP

Available Shifts : 8 D

Pay Rate : $1935.00 - $2012.00

Rad Tech needed asap for 13 weeks

Performs radiographic procedures as requested by physicians and Radiologist. Has a good understanding of advance anatomy. Provides excellent care for patients and an understanding that they may be in pain; follows AIDET guidelines

EDUCATION : High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited Radiologic\Technology Program required.

CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required. BLS certification issued through American Heart Association required within a month of hire date.

SKILLS : Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.

EXPERIENCE : Minimum one year experience required which can be substituted with clinical education experience.

ENVIRONMENT : Bloodborne pathogen C

Exposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Prolonged, extensive or considerate standing and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.

Certifications : R-ARRT(Copy Needed); BLS-AHA(Copy Needed)
