A Day in the Life

As an Engineering Technician II focused on Molding and Equipment Support, you'll play a vital role in the production of life-saving medical devices. Your work will directly support process development, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that keep our operations running efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

Support injection molding and tooling operations, ensuring equipment readiness, optimal performance, and minimal downtime.

Assist engineers with process validation (IQ / OQ / PQ), data collection, and root cause analysis of molding and equipment issues.

Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities on molding presses, auxiliary systems, and related manufacturing equipment.

Perform setups, changeovers, and adjustments to support daily production needs.

Maintain accurate documentation and logs in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance) to support continuous improvement and Lean / 5S initiatives.

Participate in safety, EHS, and ergonomic programs, modeling a strong culture of accountability and inclusion on the production floor.

Must Have : Minimum Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalentAND a minimum of 2years relevantexperience

Nice to Have : Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting injection molding, tooling, or plastics manufacturing processes

Familiarity with scientific molding principles, troubleshooting, and processing parameters

Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, PLCs, and automation equipment

Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, or FDA-regulated environments

Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, collaboration, and quality excellence

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $50,400.00 - $75,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week : Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance / reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees : Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
