As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.

Monitor access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry to the premises.

Verify the credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors to support access control protocols.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.

Report any observed irregularities, including property damage, suspicious activity, or maintenance needs, to the appropriate personnel.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related matters specific to the commercial real estate environment.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
