OB-GYN Physician OR 2026 Residents- Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver OB-GYN outpatient clinic servicesServe as the lead referral provider for women’s health consultationsManage inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, both medical and surgicalPerform gynecological procedures and spontaneous / operative deliveriesRespond to urgent or stat consults related to OB / GYN needsAdmit patients to Hospital and act as attending physicianRotate on-call responsibilities evenly across providers, including weekendsPrescribe pharmaceuticals in line with approved drug formulariesProvide clinical leadership and education to support staffPromote preventive care, health maintenance, and patient self-care through educationAttend staff meetings and contribute to diagnostic / treatment planningCommunicate with families regarding patient conditions and progressSupervise advanced practice providers (PA, NP, or Midwife) as assignedRefer patients for specialized care when outside scope of practiceOB-GYN Physician OR 2026 Residents- Qualifications
Board Certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and GynecologyCurrent Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificationValid and active DEA registrationUnrestricted medical license in GeorgiaOB-GYN Physician-OR 2026 Residents – Physical Demands
